On 06/11/2024 BSIET’s Department of Civil Engineering arranged field visit for Third year students at “Kalammawadi Dam, (gravity dam) on Dudhaganga river near Radhanagari. Kalammawadi dam is the biggest dam in Kolhapur District. The dam construction was initiated by the Government of Maharashtra in 1983 and was completed in 1999. It is being used for irrigation as well as hydro-electricitypower generator.Special thanks to Er.Sawant sir ( Retired) for sharing such wonderful experience & knowledge with us.This field visit Completed with the cooperation of Mr R.K.Patil sir (HoD Civil Engg.), Industrial Visit Coordinator Mr. Y. N. Mane sir(Lecturer) under the guidance of our Director Mr. Viren Bhirdi Sir & Principal Dr. Suhas Sapate sir.
